Software that respects teachers’ judgement and students’ time.
AdapTech Systems builds learning software for higher education.
Our main product is AdaptIQ, a learning management system for universities: one codebase that runs branded sites with their own subject modules, an AI assistant on the teacher’s side, and practice built on retrieval and spacing on the student’s side.
We also build POTECG, a platform for ECG interpretation training in medical education. We design, write and run our software ourselves.
How we build
Five rules we hold ourselves to. The first four are enforced in the software itself; the fifth is this website.
- 01
Teachers decide
The AI proposes; it never publishes. AI-made content waits for a teacher’s approval before any student sees it.
- 02
Grades are computed, not trusted
Answers are graded on the server, and the answer key never reaches the browser before the student has answered. Generated problems are rebuilt from their seed and recomputed there.
- 03
Motivation without manipulation
No loss framing and no countdowns. XP never changes a score and is never taken away.
- 04
Numbers that mean something
Topic progress appears only after ten answers, and the AI withholds any rate based on fewer than three students.
- 05
Say only what is true
Everything on this website describes software that exists today. When something is still being built, it stays off this site until it ships.
